Le Yaudet

We stayed at the end of March 2025. The gîte was bright, spacious, and clean, in a peaceful setting that worked well as a base for hikes. The GR 34 passes right by, and there’s a crêperie next door with excellent galettes. Charlotte was so welcoming and quick to help with anything we needed, including tips on the region and nearby main sights, which were superb and well worth seeing. Fabien and his children, Timothée and Léandre, were very kind too.

We stumbled across this place online and stayed as a couple in early August. It’s a lovely, peaceful spot at the foot of the GR34, with a family house converted into a guesthouse and hotel. The owners are incredibly kind and always happy to help. Our room was clean and practical, like the rest of the place, and breakfast, included in the room price, had lots of choice. There’s private parking next door, or you can park a little farther off with a sea view. The adjoining crêperie is handy if you’re hungry or thirsty. They greet you with a smile, the Breton crêpes are delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. In season, they often have live music in the evenings, which is a nice touch. It’s quite remote, so you’ll need a car, as there’s no public transport. The place also isn’t suitable for people with reduced mobility or anyone who struggles with stairs. For us, the quiet, scenery, and lovely walks made it a great fit. It’s a simple family-run place, and the owners are kind and helpful. We really managed to relax and will definitely come back.
