We’ll definitely stay here again. The tram makes getting around really easy: there’s a direct service to and from the airport right outside, and the town centre is under 10 minutes away. The staff were super friendly, too.

The C line is right across the street and goes straight to the train station, and the metro system is very well organized. Staff also pointed us to Poupoule next door for fantastic French food. There’s a convenience store beside the hotel as well, so it’s a handy base for planning trips around Bordeaux.

Leaving was the best part of my stay. The rooms and staff were really disappointing. My mom had to sleep uncomfortably with her bag on the bed because there was so little space, and the AC wasn’t working, which made the night worse. The location is tricky, though there’s a nearby bus and metro station. The kitchen staff in particular were very rude. I understand there was a language barrier between French and Spanish, but they could still have been kinder and more understanding. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend this place. If your agency books you here, I feel sorry for you.

Nasra at reception was so friendly and welcoming, and she was the highlight of my whole stay. The rest was good too. I’d give it a 10 if they fixed the AC issue and put a kettle in the room.

The staff at B&B Begles were lovely, competent, and always glad to help. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend it.
