Breakfast was one of the best parts of our stay, especially the tasty local cheeses. We were there with our baby, and an extra cot in the room made things easier. The room was spacious and cozy, with a calm, welcoming feel. Château de Béhen has so much character, and we found it a peaceful place to slow down and get away from the noise. We’d gladly come back.

We found a lovely little chateau guest house in a very quiet village. The welcome was warm and personal, and our basic room was practical. The house and grounds are beautiful, with some farm animals to see. Breakfast was decent, and it turned out to be a great find.

The kids spent a couple of hours chasing a friendly cat around the grounds and looking at the goats and ponies. We were staying in the 'Ruby Room' for one night with our family, on the drive back to the UK after a long journey. The hosts were relaxed, accommodating and very amiable, and the property itself is amazing. Breakfast and facilities were excellent. We only wished we had more time there. Booking direct is worth considering so agents don’t take a cut.

We were there for an evening in November 2025, and our host suggested a restaurant in Abbeville for supper. The food, wine and service were wonderful. Back at the Chateau, we enjoyed a generous, beautiful breakfast. The building is charming, and so was our host. Our large bedrooms and bathrooms suited the architecture, and there were lots of happy-looking animals around. Highly recommended.

The meals with our friends Mary and Paraic, who visit the Chateau regularly, were amazing. Norbert is a wonderful chef, and each of the three dinners was different and went on for a long time. Hubert entertained us with stories and also gave us some taxi service. We stayed three nights in August 2025, and found the atmosphere welcoming, charming and relaxed. The accommodation was very comfortable and quiet at night, and breakfast was continental style and unhurried. Worth a visit.
