The pitches were mostly level and a good size, with water and electricity at each one. The chemical waste points were cleaned every day, and the refurbished toilet and shower blocks were kept spotless. There’s a lovely pool, shaded pitches, and a large supermarket about 3 miles away. It also made a handy base for the local beaches and the villages around the Var region. Vincent gave us a warm welcome and explained how the site worked. Only one toilet and shower block was open because it was still low season and there were just a few caravans and motorhomes staying. He also let us know that a wedding was happening the next Saturday, so the snack bar would be closed. He said they’d keep the noise down, and they did. The site is small, family run, and really well laid out. We stayed 13 nights and would gladly come back. The one drawback was that a restaurant and wedding venue was across the river from our pitch. On three nights, celebrations carried on into the early hours. That wasn’t the site owners’ fault, but it did take the edge off what was otherwise a perfect stay. I’d definitely recommend it.
