B&B Le Château de Morey

We came for a night away from the kids, and the gardens were beautiful and clearly well kept. The pool was clean and relaxing, with plenty of shade around the property. From our third-floor room facing north, we had splendid views across the surrounding Lorrain countryside. The hotel has loads of charm and character, and the two people on site were really welcoming. Breakfast was nice too. One thing that could be better is the communal fridge. It was tiny and looked like it might not be working. It was, but only just, so a bigger, newer one would help. I’d strongly recommend the place for a wedding reception or a romantic getaway.

We had a lovely breakfast in the charming gardens, and enjoyed the outdoor pool. The castle has been restored DIY-style, so there are a few small imperfections, but it was clean. The rooms are very large and beautiful, with wonderful views. Recommended!

On our way back from Carcassonne to the Netherlands, we stayed in an amazing historic room. The suite mixed modern comfort with old-world charm really well, and our host was friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend it, and I hope we can come back in the future!

The lady looking after us was lovely and greeted us with a warm smile. It’s a super nice place, and I’d highly recommend it. Booking through their website directly is cheaper than using another option, and the money all goes to the BnB owner.
