Le Relais Des Merveilles

The night sky and all the surrounding nature, lakes, and streams made our wedding celebration exactly what we'd dreamed of. We had a superb time and would love to return soon. The accommodations were very pleasant, and the price felt fair. Jean-Paul was easy to work with and incredibly honorable. He does things by mountain rules: if you say you're coming, you come. That was very different from what I'm used to with contracts and deposits, but I found it unusual in a good way. The food was an unexpected highlight. I'm a foodie and have been visiting the South of France for 15 years, and the restaurant ranks among the top three meals I've had in the area. There is a taxi driver nearby with a minibus who can drive people around, which is essential if you bring a large group because the area is so remote. Thank you, team Relais des Merveilles!

We had a great dinner and a comfortable one-night stay. The rooms were comfortable, the other guests respectful, and the bathrooms and showers clean. We walked to and from the trail-head, though there's also a shuttle bus if you'd rather take it.

Good value for the money, with friendly staff, great service, tasty food, and a nice location.

There’s a nice central room, clean rooms, and even air conditioning. The shower was great too. A big parking lot is close by, which is rare in this area, and the central station is only a 9-minute walk away.
