Les Fermes de Kercadoret

We had a relaxing time in this lovely, peaceful spot. The animals were cute, the surroundings were beautiful, breakfast was great, and the hosts were very friendly.

The spacious, beautiful grounds and the horses, chickens, and goats made our welcome at the Kercadoret farms feel special. The bedding and breakfast were lovely, and there were thoughtful little touches throughout. Aline and Stéphane have a genuine, uncomplicated kindness about them. The place is ideally located, very close to the summer estuary. Thank you for making us feel so enchanted in your home.

We spent three nights using two rooms, one double and one deluxe. The welcome was excellent, and the old stone farmhouse with its 8 hectares of land feels like a magical place. The deluxe room was very nice, while the double room was a bit small. The bathrooms were good, though the shower stalls might feel narrow if you’re larger. Breakfast was a treat, with plenty of homemade things like jam, yogurt, salted butter caramel, and a different cake each morning, plus fresh bread and croissants. The owners were lovely to chat with and gave us lots of walking tips. Go for it!

The garden is lovely, and we enjoyed the little landscaped path. Our room was very clean, and the small bottle of water left for each of us every evening was much appreciated in the heat. Breakfast was generous and delicious, with Breton specialties and different homemade treats each morning. We had a really warm welcome this summer, and the place and its owners are both charming. A big thank you to our hostess for making room for our two little rabbits so they could stay cool and quiet. She usually doesn’t accept pets, not because she dislikes them, but because her very friendly dog may be a little too playful with other dogs, from what I understood. My only regret is missing the right season to see the magnificent fireplace in the living room being used. All the best to you.
