The Pyrenees looked stunning from my bedroom window, and the room itself was clean and tidy. I arrived late, but Rudi and his wife waited for me and cooked dinner while I got changed. The food was excellent. They’re dog-friendly, and there’s even a dedicated TESLA charger if you’re driving an electric car. Highly recommended.

The rooms are superb and spotless, and the cultural and food conversations were unforgettable. Françoise and Rodolphe make you feel welcome with real kindness and care in their simple, inviting Béarnaise home. Rodolphe is a great chef too, that carbonara deserves a star! 😁 Next time, it’ll be the jacuzzi under the stars. 😁😁 I highly recommend it.

The room was nice and the beds comfortable, but I was still extremely disappointed. Towels weren’t changed, and at the price we paid there wasn’t even any soap. Breakfast is called “hearty,” but I’ve had much better at other B&Bs, with fresh local food each morning. The breakfasts at “L'Enclos Béarnais” didn’t feel hearty to me, especially with jams that weren’t homemade. My child was even given expired yogurt once. I only ate dinner there once, out of respect for Rodolphe and his wife, and was disappointed: just duck breast, two small pieces for €25, with no dessert. To me, a whole duck is a duck. Appalling. I strongly advise against staying at this B&B.
