We were in Berck for a couple of nights before heading back to the UK. It's worth visiting in its own right, even just to see the seal colony. The owner of our accommodation pointed us to a restaurant with a great history. We hadn't booked and there were five of us, but they managed to fit us in by putting a table together in a very busy dining room. Being so close to the sea, I really wanted mussels, and they didn't disappoint. I had the set menu for around €18, with a starter, main course, and dessert. Everything was excellent. I'd never heard of Floating Island before, but it was so, so good. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
