I was surprised and disappointed by the way they handled the kitchen inventory. When we arrived, all the utensils and kitchen items were spread across the dining table, and we had to count and sort them before putting them in the cupboards. At checkout, we had to take everything back out and leave it on the table. It made the stay feel more like doing a task for the property than enjoying a vacation. I come away to relax, not manage inventory. I've stayed at several campsites in France and elsewhere, including yalloh village and topperkan (Netherlands), with much more luxurious cottages and chalets, and haven't come across this system. Where inventory checks did happen, staff usually handled them and just asked guests to review and sign. This process gives the impression that guests aren't trusted and takes away from the holiday. I'd strongly suggest changing it to make things more guest-friendly and in line with hospitality standards.

The campsite was good, and the pool security guard was great. The female bartenders, though, were rude and unwelcoming. I never got even one smile, and it felt like they didn't want us there. My kids asked for a cup of drinking water and were told to buy a bottle instead. My 8-year-old boy was shocked that they wouldn't give him a glass of water. It wasn't about buying water, especially since we'd ordered lots of drinks and cocktails. Still, they refused. I'm very disappointed.

The place was quite dirty, and there was rubbish at the camping location when we arrived. There's loud music, so I wouldn't recommend it if you want peace and nature. There also isn't much for small kids to do. The Wilde beach is fairly close, though.

This really doesn't feel like a 5-star campsite. You have to put down a €15 deposit for the fob that opens the toilet block, and it only gives access to one shower a day. You're allowed 10 minutes of water, so my husband and I had fun trying to share a shower. At least it's unisex!

The owners take people's deposits, then when asked for proof, send photos of a completely different accommodation. There are rats and other vermin all over the site. Customer service is nonexistent. They refused to answer emails, even after I explained that the accommodation in the photos wasn't ours, and they delete things from social media when they've been caught out. The staff are rude, too, and the pool, food, and other facilities are never open. The place is owned and run by thieves. Avoid it at all costs unless you want to be a victim of theft!
