Stay away!!!!!! I'm giving one star because this woman is a thief! My partner booked this room as a birthday treat so I could relax during a difficult time. Then we got a message from her saying she had to cancel because of the new government measures. We understood and canceled so we could get a refund, rather than risk losing the booking and never being able to go. She said nothing to us about this. We ended up paying 173 euros, and she refuses to refund us!!!! She blames Booking.com!!! She's taking advantage of customers to make money, and now she's gone quiet and stopped replying, even though we've tried to reach an agreement and suggested dates. I'm disgusted by people who take advantage of others. Money doesn't grow on trees, though apparently it does for her. !! Don't get scammed like we did. Go somewhere else for your safety.

The bedding was good quality, and the husband and their Bernese Mountain Dog were very friendly :). The spa itself was very average. We liked the idea of the place, but the hostess's reception and management were unpleasant. Our one-day stay was deeply disappointing, even though we'd only come to the area for an unusual weekend away. The noise was unbearable. The jacuzzi kept filtering all night, but the mechanical ventilation needed to remove humidity was the worst, a constant, piercing, exhausting sound that made sleep impossible. We were worn out the next day. When we told the hostess in the morning, she seemed indifferent and said, "No one has ever complained about the noise." We had plenty of time awake to read reviews, and lots of people had complained. Maybe only the container was affected? It was freezing inside despite three radiators. I like sleeping in a cool room, but this was too much. The next morning it was warmer outdoors than in the container. If you're sensitive to cold, don't walk around in socks in that ice cube! The hostess also treats guests like "tenants," her own word. Arrival is restricted to a specific slot from 2 to 6 pm, with an extra charge otherwise, because she has a life too. Madam, don't go into hospitality if you don't think welcoming guests matters. I understand the business is there to make money, but there are limits. They ask for a €500 security deposit, and in 10 years of travel I've never been caught off guard like that. You're only told after you've booked and paid. The price is exorbitant for the quality. PS: I'm sure you'll give a very vehement reply, like you have to other reviews.

RUN AWAY! After the lockdown was announced on Thursday evening, this person wouldn't postpone our stay booked for Friday. They hide behind Booking.com, even though we tried several times to agree on a new date with this provider.

A charming, friendly welcome and a generous breakfast, with a real change of scenery. A lovely unusual find, whether you're nostalgic for urban transport or not.
