We chose the Weyer family's gîtes as our base for evenings, and the location worked perfectly. The place is charming and very well equipped, with a wonderfully comfortable bed and free parking. Booking was quick and straightforward, and the hosts are lovely, responsive, cheerful and happy to share useful advice. We were won over and will definitely return. Thanks for everything! Bergheim really lives up to its reputation as one of France's most beautiful villages. It has something for wine lovers, people who enjoy walks in nature, and history buffs alike.

Bergheim is small and quieter than other towns, with fewer tourists. That can be nice, though it also means there are few restaurants, bakeries or grocery stores. The nearest grocery store is 3 km away. The house is very large, with a kitchen and bathroom downstairs and two double bedrooms and another bathroom upstairs. There's gated parking, and the location is great for visiting Alsace's villages, the castle and Monkey Mountain. The owner is very kind and friendly, and speaks English if you don't speak French. We had an excellent holiday in a great location.

The cottage is rustic but spotless, with a modern shower room and comfortable beds. The owner lives across the street and is always around if you need anything. He also has lots of suggestions for things to do in the area. And finding a little bottle of iced wine in the fridge when you arrive is a great start. I can't think of a downside. A truly excellent place to stay!

The hosts were so welcoming, and the gîte was comfortable for two people. There's private parking on site, and the location is ideal, with all the well-known towns less than 20 minutes away. A good place to stay.

The owner is friendly and always ready with useful advice. The apartment was very clean and well equipped, and its location made it ideal for exploring Alsace. I highly recommend it.
