They managed my gluten and dairy intolerances without any fuss, which I really appreciated. The food and wine were good, and the service was great. We’d been hoping to eat here for ages, but usually pass through Bergues on a Monday or Tuesday when it’s closed. This time we dropped by near the end of Friday lunch service to ask about a table that evening, and they had one. We’ll be back!

We only needed a place for one night after our car broke down, and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The room was beautifully decorated.

There’s a lovely restaurant downstairs, with wonderful food and a great atmosphere. I even took a few pictures of the food to share. Our hosts were amazing, and the room felt nice and nostalgic. The bed was comfortable, and there was a seating area with wine and glasses, plus a fridge, TV, and plenty of other amenities. The only drawback for us was no air conditioning, though we’ve found that’s common in France.

We had a very central place with three bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen, and we’d happily stay again 😁. The service was excellent and friendly, and breakfast was great. The mattress was very soft, so I took off a point for the accommodation, but it was a really minor issue.

We stayed a couple of nights while travelling to and from a holiday, and it was a wonderful place. The rooms were gorgeous, the staff friendly, and breakfast was high quality. The coffee was delicious too. It’s also easy to stay here with dogs, with great walks right from the hotel door. We’ll be back soon!
