La Dame Blanche

We had a really comfortable stay, and the host was kind enough to make us a delicious breakfast. The garden and view were lovely, and it’s pet friendly too!

Nice hosts and such a calm, peaceful spot. It’s away from everything, which made it just right for a short, relaxing stay.

The terrace has an incredible view, and the white house sits in a wonderfully peaceful rural setting. The building itself is superbly decorated, with real taste. We were warmly welcomed, and Daniel's brother, the owner, looked after us throughout. Both breakfast and dinner were impeccable.

The spa cost €20 for a couple, which was fine, but we only found out after deciding to use it that this bought 20 minutes. The timer was followed to the minute, and our relaxation ended almost as soon as it began. The rooms also felt decades out of date, and only one staff member seemed embarrassed enough to offer a half-hearted apology. We chose to leave at 10:30 p.m. instead of staying the night. It’s a beautiful place, but the welcome was cold and impersonal. We arrived two hours before check-in by mistake and naively thought a quick hello would be enough while we waited. The reception was firm: not before 5 p.m. Over those two hours, we saw the hosts come and go several times without a word, smile, or even a nod. Once in our room, the same almost bureaucratic feeling continued. It may be a house with guests, but hospitality seemed to be away.
