The location was the one good thing. The room looked nothing like the website photos, and the bed seemed unmade. Its bedroom door opened straight onto the street, while another open door led to the owner's room. We left without staying after booking based on the website.

There was coffee in the room, but only two pods, and the kettle seemed to be there for show. Since I don't drink coffee, I just had water. The welcome was poor from the start: a hurried man showed us the rooms quickly, then left us on our own. When the owner turned up at 9 pm, nobody introduced themselves or even said hello. It felt like we were a bother when we arrived. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

They cancelled the room I'd booked a month ahead and never told me. I only found out because I messaged them a week before, otherwise I'd have made the trip and had nowhere to sleep. Terrible communication, and not even an apology.

We had a peaceful, restful night in a cozy room, and the bed was super comfortable. The owner was lovely and made us feel welcome. Breakfast was excellent, and the central location and parking were handy. Everything we needed :)

We slept really well in this pretty Norman house. The owner was so friendly!
