La Romance et la Romanesque

We loved our Valentine’s weekend at “La Romance et la Romanesque.” The place was peaceful, had secure parking, and was ideally located for visiting Honfleur and the rest of Normandy. The bed was very comfortable, the accommodation lovely, and breakfast excellent. Corinne sent us all the information we needed as soon as we booked, so we felt reassured before arriving. She was such a kind and gentle host, and put so much care into making our stay special. We highly recommend it and hope to come back someday! :-)

We had some really nice conversations with the host, who was friendly and had great advice about the area. The guesthouse has just two rooms, so it feels intimate and comfortable, almost like being at home. It’s a typical regional house with a large garden and sun loungers where you can relax. Our room was spotless, and breakfast was plentiful and very good. There’s parking on the property.

A sunny garden, birdsong, and a sense of calm make this an inviting place to stay. It was impeccably clean, and breakfast was fresh and generous. The host was warm, attentive, and clearly loves welcoming people and bringing them together. Honfleur is 10km away by bike, with a pleasant route along the Seine, and it’s a village well worth visiting. Highly recommended, this cottage and its host warm the heart.

The charming room and the delightful host made for a superb night in this beautiful, typical Norman cottage. We were welcomed with such kindness, and our host was very attentive. Thank you again.
