The rooms are a little small and not the best, but the service is really good and the location is perfect. Breakfast has everything you need, the WiFi is free, and the shower pressure is great. Don't worry about speaking French, they speak English here. I'll come back on my next visit to besancon.

The staff were very friendly to us and to other guests we saw. One older guest had broken down outside Besancon on the way to Italy, and staff helped them contact the garage about the work since they didn't speak French. I've stayed at many Ibis hotels and usually avoid the brand if I can, but this was one of the best. We got into the parking courtyard without any trouble with our mirrors folded in. A Range Rover came in at the same time too. The entrance is 2.2 meters wide. The location is very good, and I'd highly recommend it.

What stood out most was the amazing staff. I left my laptop in the room and called the receptionist. She went to look for it in person, checking twice because it was well hidden, then called me right away when she found it. Thanks again, that's how to do a great job. The hotel itself is nice and convenient, and the location is perfect.

The rooms were quiet, the WiFi was quick, and there were good facilities for working. Parking is on-site and a bit tight, but booking a spot should make things fine. I was here on business and would recommend it. Good hotel for a good price, with friendly staff and a good breakfast. It's also well placed for exploring town.
