We left feeling enriched by the time we shared with these warm, fascinating hosts. Even though we arrived soaked on our motorbikes, they welcomed us kindly and took such thoughtful care of us. Their advice was invaluable and even helped us find a patch of sunshine. The place was spotless, and their hospitality felt truly rare. Thank you for those lovely moments.

Michel's hiking suggestions helped us escape the rain and led us to some magnificent routes. We also looked forward to Kathrin's breakfasts each day, especially the delicious homemade cake and jams. It was a perfect family stay in a wonderful setting, with two friendly, attentive hosts. We left delighted.

We loved having breakfast out in the garden, and it was delicious. The decor tells the story of the hosts' many travels, while the place itself is comfortable and impeccably clean. Add a dream location and charming, passionate hosts, and the stay was absolutely perfect.

The apartment was so cozy, quiet, and rustic, with little decorative details that suited the surroundings. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, and Kathrin and Michel were happy to help if anything was missing. I really appreciated having the bathroom and toilet in separate rooms. I'm usually not a great sleeper on holiday, but the bed was comfortable and I slept well. The electronic bedroom blinds were fantastic, and waking up to birdsong felt like a gentle greeting. There was free parking a minute or two's walk away. Kathrin and Michel were warm, open, and accommodating, always ready to answer our questions. They suggested lovely hiking trails, so we still had great day trips despite the rainy, cloudy weather. Homemade rhubarb crumble and delicious walnut wine were among the little surprises that made our holiday even sweeter. We felt completely at ease, and really at home. We began our holiday with a picturesque, enchanting journey to Bescat and a very warm welcome at Le Balcon de l'Ossau. We could have enjoyed a lovely part of the garden, but the weather had other plans. Still, this was exactly the kind of break we had hoped for. If you're tired of city bustle or a stressful job, it's a wonderful place to unwind. We highly recommend the apartment and hosts, and will definitely be back.
