The staff are welcoming and friendly, and breakfast is fresh and appetizing. The rooms are clean and nice, and the prices seem fair overall. Wifi is the weak point: the signal is mostly unavailable. It's also easy to get to.

I was travelling alone from Scotland to Southern Spain with my wee old dog, driving through France. Niort itself is lovely, but this Fasthotel was one of only two stops I remember as being less than acceptable. Apparently the owner of the neighbouring hotel had bought it, and check-in was at that other hotel. There was no wifi whatsoever, and no satellite tv, despite it being advertised. That would have helped pass the evening. The heating didn't work in my first room, so I had to move. We were up and gone at the crack of dawn the next day.

The room was tiny, but the price seemed fair for a cheap place to spend one night while passing through. Can't complain much beyond that.
