The service was fantastic, and Mohamed Ali was especially kind in helping me explore and get to know the lovely town of Béziers. The hotel is right beside the train station, and the rooms are good and clean. The neighborhood can get noisy sometimes.

The area around this place is lovely, and the man running the hotel was genuinely warm and hospitable. The room, though, was a letdown. It looked as if no handyman or maintenance crew had been around for decades. Someone had tried to cover the damage and wear with duct tape, plasterboard, and little pieces of wallpaper used as pictures, but it really didn't work. A bit disappointing, though we were warmly welcomed while discovering somewhere new like this. Was it worth the money? Probably not. Was it worth the experience? Hell yeah!

I arrived at 11pm after a long work trip, and there was nobody there to let me in. Thankfully there was a key box, though it still took me 10 minutes to open the blocked door. After such a long journey, I wanted a shower, but there were no towels or shampoo. A beeping sound went on all night. The worst night ever, not recommended.

BED BUGS ALERT I got there at 9pm, went out to dinner, then showered. That's when I realized there were tons of bed bugs in my ground-floor room. No staff were around to help anymore, and it was so late that I had nowhere else to go. The internet didn't work either. The staff member who was there for check-in was very friendly, but the rest of the stay was a real nightmare.

The place was okay, but the room looked a bit rough. There was only a curtain for the bathroom, and the Wi-Fi barely worked. A bit too pricey for what you get.
