L'Hôtel Particulier Béziers

The owners and manager were wonderful and went out of their way to help. I also liked the large, beautifully furnished rooms, each one different. Our room had a lovely bed and a large walk-in shower. The old wood floors creak a lot, though, and you can hear people in the next room. The mansion has been lovingly restored and is a real beauty. It's about a ten-minute walk to the old town, though it isn't right in the middle of it. There's a lovely pool area out back, but roadworks to replace pipes along the whole street made it too noisy to use except at the weekend. There's also a nice sitting area inside, and wine is available to buy. I misunderstood and thought breakfast was included in the price, but it wasn't. The selection was nice, with fruit, yogurt and pastries, plus eggs if you ask. In spite of the roadwork, we really liked this hotel.

Such a charming hotel with beautiful decor, and the people running it are lovely. We had a problem with our room, and Manager Nicholas dealt with it so kindly and professionally. We'd definitely stay there again.

Of the five hotels I stayed in recently between Carcassonne and Sete, this one was easily the best. My room was spacious and cool despite the outdoor temperature being around 35°C, and the air conditioning was quiet. They provided everything I needed and more, and breakfast had lots of personal touches. Best of all, the people were kind, took an interest in what I was doing, and helped when I needed it. Terrific!

The rooms are styled with so much thought and individuality, and the staff really listen to what you enjoy and help you make the most of your time, both at the hotel and around it. You feel valued as a person, with all the comforts you’d expect from a great hotel. Best place to stay in Béziers.
