Sophie gave us such a friendly welcome when we arrived. She let us know there had been some hot water problems and offered either an upgrade with free drinks or help finding somewhere else to stay. We decided to stay and were glad we did: we had hot water, and the upgraded room looked out over the ocean. The evening drinks were a nice touch too. Our room was clean and laid out well for three people, and the atmosphere was friendly. The location was excellent, and Sophie made the stay especially enjoyable. I'd happily recommend Hotel de l'ocean.

The staff were fantastic, the room was cleaned and refreshed every day, and the food was excellent, so we still had a pleasant stay. But our so-called premium room with a sea view and balcony fell well short of what we expected. It felt cramped, the shower room was basically a box, and from inside the room we looked at the side wall of the chapel. You could only see the sea off to one side when sitting on the balcony.

The hotel has a lovely spot on the main square, just steps from the ocean, and the room was comfortable. Some maintenance is overdue, though: the shower door wouldn't shut and looked like it had been broken for a while. I also got briefly stuck in the elevator when its door wouldn't open, which wasn't reassuring. It's a nice hotel, but the upkeep could be better.

We had a lovely few days on vacation there almost a month ago. Our room was small, but clean and cute, with a beautiful view of the ocean, la grande plage, and the church. The reception staff were very nice and helpful, and we enjoyed our stay.

Dogs are warmly welcomed, and I loved my stay. The hotel was spotless, breakfast was very nice, and the restaurant was really good. The staff were absolutely brilliant. It seems just right for one person or a family, and I'll certainly come back. Thanks for making my stay such a happy time!
