The rooftop bar is incredible, and there are loads of great restaurants within walking distance. The location is amazing and the staff are excellent. Rooms do run a bit small.

We stopped by the rooftop bar before dinner to watch the sunset, and the location was fantastic. There were six of us, and we got a great table with a sunset view. The cocktails and snacks were delicious, and live music added a really cool atmosphere. Everyone on staff was friendly and helped us choose drinks. I'd definitely recommend it as a fun place to hang out in Biarritz.

The rooftop view was great, but the food and drink choices were limited. Breakfast was the one €11 option, with coffee, juice, and two mini pastries. It was described as fresh juice, though I honestly doubt that. There wasn't a dairy-free option for someone lactose intolerant like me, either. I asked for bread and jam, and was glad I requested a couple of extra slices because the slices I got were tiny. I'd expect more from a 4-star hotel.

The staff welcomed us warmly from the moment my wife and I arrived, and the beach is just steps away. We had a wonderful stay at Hotel de la Plage in Biarritz. Our room was spotless, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed to be comfortable. We also really enjoyed the restaurant's fresh local food. The staff paid close attention and went out of their way to help. It made for a lovely romantic escape, and we can't wait to return on our next trip to Biarritz.
