The man at the front desk was extremely violent. We went in to use the bathroom, then left without buying anything because of him. He may deny it, but I'm willing to show the official police report to anyone who asks. This is unacceptable.

The hosts really were kind, and the service was excellent. Still, I think the ratings here are misleading, and the comfort, value for money and location are overrated. The standard double room is tiny, under 10 m², and shouldn't be rented to a couple with a child.

The hosts were so friendly and lovely, and everyone made us feel good there. The communal room and bedroom were beautiful, and the whole place was very clean and warm. It's a fantastic hotel. We'll recommend it to everyone. Thank you, love Richard and Jo XX

A short walk takes you down to the main street. That worked well for us with a car, since parking away from the busy area is easier. The room was very clean and tidy, and the people running the hotel were friendly and helpful.

The receptionist was thoughtful and very friendly, and speaks French, English, German and Spanish. I really enjoyed my stay. The beach is about a 15-minute walk away, and this is the most affordable accommodation in Biarritz I've found so far. I'd come back anytime!
