Camping Sunissim Erreka

I wouldn't spend your holiday time or money here. I've sent Sea Green three emails and still haven't heard back. The campsite is rundown: the entrance and pitches are badly sloped, and the old sanitary facilities are broken and covered in mould. Four different employees told us to get cold water for drinking or washing produce from the chemical station where caravans empty their toilets. The washroom building needs urgent renewal, with mould and many broken items. The fridge they gave us was unbelievable, as you can see in the photos. We also slept badly because groups of young people drank and misbehaved, and there was no night guard, as the campsite confirmed. At night you're left on your own beside neighbours drinking and using drugs. Please find another campsite, and don't assume it won't be that bad.

Bidart and the surrounding area are beautiful, but find another campsite if you want to explore it. This place isn't set up well for caravans or motorhomes: access is awful, there's no chemical waste disposal, and the pool and bar were shut. After rain, we ended up stuck in a mud pit. Our car had to be towed out, and then we built a ramp to pull the caravan from the mud. We paid €46 a night for three nights, but would have left early if we could. In 35 years of camping, this was the worst site we've stayed at. It isn't four-star.

A month after my stay, I'm still waiting for the money they said they would refund. I've sent lots of messages and tried calling, but the number is always busy. When I finally got through, they told me the refund was coming. The campsite might be nice, though it wasn't very clean, but all the problems afterward made this a truly awful experience. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

After a very long day, we had to find somewhere else to stay because our advance reservation hadn't been processed. The staff were unhelpful and made no effort to find a solution. The receptionist who arrived showed no remorse and even blamed us. We expected more support and understanding. The experience with Camping Sea Green was brief, but extremely disappointing. Moments like this say a lot about a place.
