Les Frères Ibarboure, The Originals Collection

Les Frères Ibarboure was a lovely place to stay. The staff were attentive and friendly, the grounds were well kept, and our room was clean and cozy. We hope to return.

Dinner at the restaurant was delicious, and the tasting menu and wines paired beautifully. We loved the calm, relaxed atmosphere and cute spa area. A fabulous stay in a beautiful, peaceful haven. Highly recommended.

The setting put me in mind of a Costa Rican forest, only without the loud animals. Dinner was fantastic, with an excellent wine selection and a tasting menu full of flavors I’ll remember. I wish we’d stayed longer. A must visit!

We’d planned to eat somewhere else, but it was closed, so we stumbled on this place. We arrived late for lunch and weren’t dressed for this kind of dining, but the staff welcomed us with open arms. The garden dining area was peaceful and inviting. I’ve eaten in over 60 countries, including at some of the best places in the world, and this meal and whole dining experience was in my top three. They thought of everything, even bringing the ladies shawls when it got breezy. The chef came over to our table, which was a lovely touch. We hadn’t brought anything for an overnight stay, but liked it so much that we decided to stay, have breakfast, and enjoy the beauty of the place. You won’t be disappointed.
