The clean, spacious rooms, great location near Biarritz overlooking Bidart's beach, and nice swimming pool all made a good impression. But those positives were overshadowed by the owner’s complete lack of empathy. He didn’t smile once in three days. Then, at breakfast on our departure day at 9am, the cleaning lady rudely told us to leave the room by the 11am deadline. We had no intention of staying later and hadn’t said anything to suggest we would. Those details can really affect a stay, and we were astonished that some experienced B&B owners still don’t seem to understand that.

We stayed a week in the guesthouse's ground-floor studio. It was peaceful, comfortable, well arranged and decorated, and had everything we needed. The large terrace looks out over the Erretegia cliffs and their stunning sunsets, and the studio is right beside the beautiful infinity pool. Thank you to Eliane, the owner, for such a warm welcome and for being so kind. We'll be back!

Breakfast on the veranda, with the ocean in view, was a lovely way to unwind in this peaceful, idyllic spot. Eliane was thoughtful about what guests needed while still giving them space, and the breakfast itself was generous, with fresh ingredients. The place has a lot of charm. I’d feel completely comfortable booking here.
