Villa Anvers has the most stunning coast-wide view, from one end to the other. I’ve never dined anywhere more magical. Each summer they put on lovely dinner events under dim lighting and a canopy, with a delicious multi-course meal for a big group of friends. Seats are hard to get, so I’d book well ahead.

The food was delicious, with varied courses and some really distinctive flavors. We chose the rosé from a wine list with lots of good options and loved it. The setting is beautiful and the service wonderful. If you’re in the area, definitely book a dinner here. Such a gem!

What a beautiful setting in the Mouguerre orchards, and the pop-up restaurant is such an original idea. The atmosphere was friendly, and we met some lovely people, so it made for a pleasant evening. The meal was more uneven. We enjoyed the octopus starter and the dessert, though the dessert portion was too small. Another starter was only half a tomato with a few condiments, which felt a bit meager. The main course was the biggest disappointment: it was described as a "rib of beef," but what arrived was a slice that looked more like roast. The description didn’t match what we felt we were eating. At €60 without drinks, the menu seemed expensive for the portions. The wine, at €45 a bottle, wasn’t good either, especially since we’d seen the same wine in shops for less than €4. The location is well worth a visit, and the idea is great, but the meal could be more generous and live up to what the menu promises.

The view is breathtaking, the portions are good, and the staff are really friendly. Getting a table is difficult, but if you get lucky, go for it. The food was excellent.
