Breakfast was amazing, and the chateau is gorgeous. Pierre and Marie are lovely. We had a superb stay and would definitely come back.

The owner refused our stay, even though we had a small, quiet baby who needed no extras. Not friendly at all, and definitely not kid friendly. What kind of world are we in if future customers aren't accepted? It leaves a poor impression!

We loved the conversations with our hosts and the whole place. The garden was well kept and so peaceful to wander around. Breakfast was delicious and generous, but still light and refined, with homemade food from Marie. Our welcome was warm and personal, and it really felt like staying in a guest room rather than a hotel. We were lucky to get an upgrade. The room was beautiful, the bathroom spotless, and the bed very comfortable.

We were so glad to get the chance to go horseback riding, since we had the skill level required, and to meet a wonderful woman, a real guardian angel for animals. Everyone was lovely. What a lovely surprise to find Réunion Island cuisine at the table d'hôte when we arrived! It's a peaceful, beautiful place, a little corner of paradise I'd happily recommend.

We were lucky to wake up in a spacious, sunlit room on the first floor. Marie and Bernard welcomed us warmly and courteously, and the homemade jams made breakfast sumptuous. Château du Preuil was an excellent stop on our holiday road trip. Thank you!
