Hype Hotel

Just a perfect experience. Philippe and the staff made us feel at home, and the hotel was comfortable. When we had car trouble, Philippe even helped us find a nearby workshop. He also had great suggestions for enjoying our holiday in Biscarrosse and the surrounding area. Un grand merci Philippe.

The place is quiet, comfortable, and close to the town centre, with plenty of parking at both the front and back. The modern rooms are clean and have what you need, though the free Wi-Fi was a bit unreliable. Phil and the team were so helpful, sorting out taxis, printing boarding cards, and even making me a gluten-free cake for breakfast. I checked in feeling reassured after asking whether my gluten-free diet would be a problem, and the whole visit stayed easy and enjoyable right through checkout. I’d give it four and a half stars.

When I couldn’t get a taxi to Ychoux train station on a Monday morning, David came to the rescue and drove me himself. That’s the kind of care the owners, David and Lisa, bring to the stay. Breakfast had custom omelettes, homemade cakes, and cookies, and the modern rooms were well equipped, with details like a close-up makeup mirror and super-comfortable beds. They really do pay attention to the little things. I hope I get the chance to come back soon!

The hotel was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. Everyone was very helpful with directions, sightseeing ideas, and dinner suggestions. I’d happily stay again and recommend it.
