We chose the least expensive of the rooms we were offered, each with its own character, and it was lovely: clean, nicely furnished, with a good bathroom and enough space to be comfortable. The reception at Les Vagues was professional and friendly, and service throughout was impeccable. We had two breakfasts and two dinners; the food was well prepared and interesting, with a good wine selection for dinner. I'd gladly recommend the hotel to anyone travelling in the Landes area. It's near the beaches and an excellent network of well-surfaced cycling trails through the forests, with more than 230 km of paths to explore.

The location made the stay, and the hotel itself was really comfortable. Everyone at reception and in the restaurant was friendly, kind, and professional. I had a great time there.

We’d happily stay here again on a trip to France’s Atlantic Coast. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was great. It’s in a lovely residential area, within walking distance of both the city centre and the beaches. Handy if you’re travelling with a dog, too, since the dog-friendly beach is just a short walk away.

Room 209 needs a better view. A drinks machine in the lobby would be a welcome addition, too. The room is tiny, though it has a comfortable bed, a good shower, and a large TV. Even the balcony is small. Did I mention how tiny the room is?

We only stayed one night because the weather changed. The staff were pleasant, and everything was within walking distance. There’s free parking right outside. The rooms are tiny, and the balcony was very small.
