That tucked-away room worked so well for our one-and-a-half-year-old, and the hosts had already put out a crib and high chair. We spent a week there and felt completely at home. The decor is exquisite, breakfast was delicious, and the hosts are lovely. We really didn't want to leave, and we'll be back :)

Minerva is close by and well worth a visit. The house is run by a lovely couple, and the room is kept in very good shape. Breakfasts felt wonderfully romantic. There's also a restaurant, snack bar, and natural river pool nearby. It's a little off the highway, but the trip is worth it.

I stayed at Hotel Numéro Sept in Bize-Minervois this summer (2017), planning to visit Mierve the next day. The place is pleasant and decorated with good taste. Patrick, the manager, was friendly, though his French is limited. There's no payment terminal, so bring enough cash.
