Lara was always around and so bubbly, and she can help plan your day trips. St. Emilion and Bordeaux are both close enough to make easy outings in either direction, with one fabulous village and Chateau after another to explore. Les also knows the area's wines inside out, and his tour gave us a superior tasting experience. We had such a wonderful time at Bordeaux Village Blaye, and would go back in a heartbeat. We came on a friend's recommendation during our France road trip and stayed three days with Les, Clarissa, and Lara. Our apartment in a wonderful old building had been completely renovated, so it was modern, clean, and very comfortable, with everything we needed for everyday life. We felt at home right away and well looked after. Groceries were all we might have needed to add, but we chose instead to eat at the great restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Thank you for three wonderful days!

Blaye is a lovely town, with plenty of interesting places nearby to explore. Our group of six had a fantastic time and was well cared for by the team. We rented two apartments, one with two bedrooms and one with one bedroom, in restored historic buildings a few steps apart on the same street. The same team also runs a character-filled hotel on that street and a relaxed, friendly cafe and bar on the corner. The accommodation is gorgeous and exceptionally well run, right in Blaye's historic citadel town. Highly recommended!

Blaye's little cafes are what I really like. The service isn't always the best, but they're fine for a drink or a quick coffee ☕️.
