We had a wonderful week at Le Clos Reaud. Stephane and Christine were gentle, caring hosts, always ready with advice about places to visit and restaurant suggestions. Stephane also made us a wonderful curry, and the Ayurvedic massage he gave me was the cherry on top. I had quite a bit of pain in my back and legs, but felt so, so good afterward. If you're staying at Clos Reaud, Stephane's massage is a must. The house is charming and castle-like, full of character and comfort, with large stone-walled rooms that are beautifully decorated and extremely clean. Le Clos Reaud is right in town but feels like the countryside, a real oasis. The big breakfast buffet had plenty of choices, including local produce. Blaye's citadel is majestic, and the scenery around the river is breathtaking. I highly recommend staying at Clos Reaud. Thank you so much, Stephane and Christine.

We all felt relaxed and comfortable here, and our three children were made very welcome too. The family room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, and there was a lovely pool. The beautiful property and garden, fantastic breakfast, and warmest of welcomes made this a place I couldn't recommend more highly.

The pool and the decking around it were the icing on the cake. The accommodation was superb, and the hosts were great. There's secure parking for cars and bikes, charging points for EVs, and a bike garage where you can charge an e-bike. The cycle path that starts a few hundred metres from the hotel is an added bonus. If you're travelling in this part of France or looking for a great short break, this is the place for you. Fabulous from first to last.

The location is convenient, near Blaye's citadel and centre, and parking is free. It's a beautiful property with very hospitable hosts, and you can also have an Indian massage. I'd definitely recommend it.

Our stay was perfect and very comfortable, and we got a nice tip for the next day. The people were so nice, and the beautiful place is tucked away between the other houses. For me, it was the best stay of our latest holiday. Good luck for the future! Regards, Arjan en Harmke Kouwenhoven.
