La Maison d'Hocquincourt

Cathie’s personality is all over this chambre d’hotes, especially in the original, carefully done decorations throughout the house. After riding through hours of rain, I was grateful that she let me keep my motorbike in her garage overnight. My room felt like a little apartment: a sitting room with two sofas, a round table and chairs, books, unusual ornaments and a large TV, then a bedroom with a very big, comfortable bed. The spacious bathroom had a nice shower, and every room had a window. I had an aperitif and a lovely dinner, followed by a generous, beautifully presented breakfast. The nights really are quiet, as other guests have said. I had a very pleasant stay.
