The swimming pool and jacuzzi were a real bonus, and the owner speaks pretty good English for French standards. We also enjoyed breakfast, with fresh eggs and local products, and found nice restaurants nearby. The beach is about a 45-minute drive away. Le Paddock du Val de Lys has lovely private corners for relaxing, with plenty of greenery and flowers. The owners have done an amazing job creating a rustic French feel. Our private room had a big bathroom, a separate bedroom with a good mattress and TV, plus a small sitting room and kitchenette. One tip: book directly to get a discount when you stay for 3 nights or more. We really enjoyed our stay.

Our daughter loved it too, and we’d recommend the place to anyone looking to enjoy their vacation. The landlord was super nice, and we had some great conversations with him. We had a very good time there and won’t forget those lovely days!

We can charge an electric car here, very slowly, but that’s enough for me. I really, really love this place, a cosy little paradise with all kinds of animals and a beautiful garden. We’ll definitely come back. ☀️🤩

The food was a lovely surprise, with exquisite French specialities. The couple who run the cottage are warm and hospitable, and the setting is quiet and peaceful. It’s charming and very comfortable. I was very satisfied with the welcome, food, comfort and surroundings.

After a day of sightseeing, it’s great to come back and have so many options: a swimming pool, spa, table tennis and pétanque. The cottage is charming for two, and you feel at home right away. It’s peaceful, with animals, flowers and trees. Chantal and Jean-Pierre are welcoming and very friendly. A little paradise in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region ❤️
