Owners Irina and Arnold make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. Irina is a gifted chef, and the gastronomic stay is well worth trying, with lovely dishes made from excellent local ingredients. The château itself is magnificent, with historic rooms, carefully preserved interiors and antique furniture.

Book dinner with Irina, you won't be disappointed. The Chateau is a wonderfully peaceful place to stay when visiting the Loire valley, and well worth a visit.

Irina clearly puts her heart into her work, and the welcome was so warm and friendly. The Valentine's Day meal was divine, with combinations and offerings that really surprised us. We worried the room might be cold because it was chilly outside and castles can feel cool inside, but the heating kept it at a perfect temperature. The only small drawbacks were the bathroom, which had no shutters or curtains, and the beautiful bathtub, which made showering tricky without splashing water around. A wonderful night at Blet Castle.
