We loved sharing dinner in the evenings with the other guests and Margreet, who runs the chateau with her family. She really makes hospitality the priority and enjoys sharing this special place in France. The setting is peaceful, with lovely views, and it’s easy to reach beautiful and interesting spots in the Morvan. We’ve just got home after a midweek stay at Chateau de Poussignol and already want to come back. We’ve never felt so welcome or at home anywhere. Margreet, thanks so much for everything, and see you soon!

We had two nights and two meals here as a family, and for a few hours it felt like we’d stepped outside the world. The owner, Margreet, is incredibly kind. There’s a lovely sense of calm, and the welcome is warm and personal. Our room was spacious and clean, with swallows nesting by the windows and singing, and a few sheep bleating in the distance. A place worth discovering.
