Our choir, Medina Community Choir, had a fantastic week at CRJS Auberge de Jeunesse on our singing tour of France. It worked perfectly as a base for our performances at the magnificent Cathedrals of Le Mans, Blois, and Tours. The location made getting to the venues easy and let us enjoy the beautiful French countryside. We were pleasantly surprised by how good the facilities were. The food was good, and we especially liked the sheltered outdoor seating area for unwinding after rehearsals and performances. The rooms were small and fairly basic, but practical and functional, with everything our group needed for a comfortable stay. It contributed a lot to an enjoyable, successful trip. We’d recommend it to groups or travelers looking for practical, well-located accommodation at surprisingly good value.

We stayed at this youth hostel for two days for a movement workshop with eight people. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the meals were particularly tasty. Facilities were adequate, and we used a meeting room with an attached kitchenette. The beds were comfortable, with two to four people per room.

We went there with our school. The meals were really bad, and there was no way to get more food. The rooms weren’t clean at all, with mold in every corner, and the staff kept yelling at us over little things. You’d be better off sleeping in a cave.

Dinner was worse than what you'd get in a student cafeteria, and breakfast was only mediocre. The room was meant for four, yet there was just one working socket, and even that was very loose. I can't understand how that's considered enough. A terrible stay.

The host was helpful and nice, but the kitchen especially was not clean. I lucked out by having a room meant for five all to myself. Sorry, guys, but I can't give this a high score.
