ibis Blois Centre Chateau

Parking was easy to find on the street outside, even during the busy summer season, and the adjustable air conditioning was much appreciated in the French heat. Our room was quiet, comfortable, and clean. The staff were always welcoming and happy to help, too. We spent two lovely nights at the Ibis Hotel Centre Blois Château, within a short walk of Château de Blois, the old town, shops, and plenty of restaurants. It was good value and a great base for exploring Blois and the Loire Valley.

Right in the centre of Blois, which worked really well for a town break. The room was basic but just right, very clean and well kept, with good turn-down service. Staff were lovely and friendly, and breakfast was excellent.

Breakfast was a highlight. The woman looking after it was so friendly, and even made scrambled eggs for us when we asked. My wife and I stayed here at the end of August 2024 while cycling around the region. We booked at reception, where William gave us a warm welcome and made check-in easy. There was a secure indoor room for our bikes, and our room was clean and remarkably quiet.

William and his team were attentive, respectful, and great at languages, and they knew the area well. My room was large, bright, clean, and quiet, even though it faced the street. The air conditioning worked well. William also kept my bicycle safely inside in a dedicated ground-floor room. Breakfast was great, with soya milk and good muesli. The location is just right, as other reviewers have said. A five-star stay for cyclists on the EV3 and 6.
