This guesthouse made a great base for visiting castles, just what we wanted. The hosts were welcoming and attentive, and there was private parking and a quiet patio. The kitchen had a sink, plenty of utensils, welcome treats, coffee and tea, and a coffee maker. One thing to know: the upstairs bedroom has three beds for four people, but there's a screen, and the sofa downstairs opens into two beds. The upstairs bedroom barely gets a phone signal, which was wonderful, I could fall asleep right away! 😂

Very spacious accommodation in an ideal spot in Blois's medieval centre. The hostess, or housekeeper, gave us a very friendly welcome. A charming place.

The old town setting gives the place a lovely atmosphere, though getting there by car is tricky. The owner was very friendly and helpful. There are four beds in one room, one of them a double, plus another double in the living and dining area. WiFi in the living room is very limited. Still, we highly recommend it.

The kitchen could use better equipment, and the place felt dark and damp.
