Maisonnette Blois

We walked over from the station and found it easy to get around. There’s a lively Farmer's Market in the town center a few minutes away on foot, and bike rentals nearby if you want to ride the Loire Valley. We loved our time at La Maison du Carrior, and only wished we’d stayed longer. The place is elegant and charming, but still cozy and restful. We were welcomed so warmly, like family coming home, and the host helped us to our room and offered discounts for nearby chateaux. The decor throughout and all the little details stood out. Bedding and towels were high quality, and breakfast was substantial, with gourmet parfaits and jams, different breads, fresh fruit, and an unbelievable cheese plate.

Breakfast was quite grand for a petit déjeuner, with breads, jams, mango yogurt, charcuterie, chèvre and plenty of other treats. My room at Maison du Carroir was spacious and well furnished, and the grounds had a lot of charm. The host gave wonderful service and let me leave my bags early when I got there before check-in. I spent two weeks in France, and this stay was the highlight. I hope to come back soon.

The host was patient about my limited French and really accommodating. My room was lovely, airy, charming and comfortable. I wish I could've stayed longer, and I'd happily stay here again.

A relaxing visit in a beautiful, comfortable home. The rooms are incredibly comfortable and nicely decorated, and the breakfast table is a delight.
