Le Riccoty

Pretty cool...

It was okay.

The rooms are tiny, and the bedding doesn’t match the price range. There was hair, fur, and various stains in the bathrooms, so housekeeping needs work. On my first night the air conditioning was so loud I couldn’t sleep; the next night, I think water was leaking from the roof and dripping onto the ceiling. Dinner wasn’t worth what it cost. Reception and table service were adequate. I stayed two nights, and I wouldn’t go back. Avoid this place.

The TV reception was weak and some channels weren’t available. The room was barely clean, and the window let in a cold whistle of air while the vent above it blew cold too. The heating barely worked and was noisy, so the night was cold and noisy. Breakfast was just as disappointing as the rest. Dinner was memorable for the wrong reasons: four unappealing salads, tasteless pastries, and a choice of meat or fish with sticky rice, all reheated in the microwave. Nothing was cooked on site, and I skipped dessert. Outside, the hotel looked fine, and two very friendly people greeted me, but after that it went downhill. I paid €139.88 for all this, which felt like a disgrace. In my opinion, this hotel is one to avoid.
