Chez Gillou

I loved the way the host makes sure guests feel at ease, with room for themselves while keeping the place warm and friendly. Gillou's is such a cozy, distinctive little haven, even more so than you'd expect when you arrive. It's a great base for unwinding between all the sights and events in the region. Call ahead, too, because he gives really good advice and can help make sure your stay works out well. I'd happily come back.

Breakfast was a lovely chance to sit around that beautiful table and share a moment with other guests. It's such a beautiful, unusual place, and the owner made us feel so welcome. Thanks for being so hospitable.

The rooms were clean and had everything we needed, and breakfast was simple but satisfying. Gilou was there whenever we needed something and gave us such a warm welcome. A wonderful place to stay, and I'd highly recommend it. Thanks for your hospitality, Gilou.

We were only there for one night, but it left us with a really good memory. Gillou has made a very original cottage, and he's exactly the kind of host we like. Breakfast with him was generous and friendly, then it was time to head off. We'll be back.
