Le Bistrot des Ecuries

The bread was easily the worst I’ve had in France, and the main courses are on the small side, though they’re satisfying. Across three visits, I’d put this farm-to-table bistrot somewhere in the middle of the places I’ve tried. It reaches high for culinary skill: the ideas sometimes nearly come together, but more often the cooking gets an A for concept and a B for execution. The service is friendly in its own distinctive way. A pleasant experience if you’re nearby.

That peaceful terrace view and a lovely rosé made the meal even nicer. We came upon this place during our vacation and were pleasantly surprised by the welcoming owner and the fresh, delicious food, much of it grown in their own garden. There are good vegetarian options too. I’d definitely recommend it! ♥️🙏🏻

The beautiful building and lovely grounds made the whole lunch memorable. We had wonderful food, excellent service, and a top-notch choice of wines. A delightful experience, highly recommended.

The menu was explained with such care and detail that you could see the time and effort behind it, and there was plenty of local produce. We had a wonderful meal in a warm, comforting setting, with a very friendly welcome. Divine food and a lovely evening. I’d highly recommend it!
