Hôtel Le Fécamp

The noise was awful, with everything from the corridor and outside coming through. The room also stank, and the bedding looked as if it had never been changed. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I wouldn't recommend it even to my worst enemy.

Dirty, dirty, dirty. This isn't a hotel I'd recommend. Find somewhere else to stay. If I could, I'd give it less than one star.

The staff were pleasant and helpful, luckily. But the facilities are poor for what they charge, and the hotel needs to be kept up if a renovation isn't possible. The toilet seat wasn't fixed, the painted floor tiles were peeling (painting floor tiles is a crazy idea), some rooms apparently don't have toilets, the windows were screwed in, and the doors scraped the floor. The price is still outrageous for that quality.

We only ended up here because our Airbnb cancelled, and the alternative was sleeping in the car. For €63, you'd expect better. The sheets were clean, but the dated room had a door that barely shut, a broken window handle, chewing gum by the pillow, a lingering cigarette smell, and a tiny parking lot. We're not coming back. Avoid this hotel.
