Hôtel Version Maquis Santa Manza

The wilderness views from this great location and the staff's hospitality were the highlights for us. The room was modern, the bed comfortable and breakfast had excellent options. A really well thought-out hotel, and a five-star-plus experience.

We were able to relax so much during our stay. The hotel is modern, the room was clean and nice, and everyone was friendly, helpful and accommodating. It's beautiful, with an amazing view. I'm surprised it isn't rated five stars.

Quiet, private and surrounded by beautiful Corsican nature, this was one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. The staff were always friendly, breakfast was really good, and dinner was great too. We'll definitely come back.

The pool was the highlight for us. The water is slightly salty and lovely to swim in, the sun loungers are around the pool, and staff bring fresh towels. There are also two free e-bikes, and you can book a buggy to a nearby, rather remote beach. The hotel is about a ten-minute drive from Bonifacio, in a quiet, out-of-the-way spot. From bed we could see the forest and ocean, and our terrace was a lovely place to watch the sunrise. Each room has a generous shower and bathroom area. This is a very peaceful place, best suited to couples who want to relax. It's not for partygoers or loud guests. The setting is intimate, with everyone gathering around the pool, so it's important to be considerate of other guests and the staff. We stayed seven nights and had a fantastic holiday. The team at Hôtel Version Maquis Santa Manza were amazing, from Myriam, who greeted us with great tips, to everyone who took extra care of us. Thank you for making it such a treat. The brunch was amazing, with fresh food, cakes and egg dishes. There's a lunch menu too, and dinner can be booked in advance. Lunch and dinner lean toward vegetarian food and pasta. For seafood or meat, it's better to book a table at their partner hotel. It's remote, so you'll need a car, and driving on the smaller roads in Corse can be challenging. You need to be a confident driver, as there's no public transport to the hotel. We really appreciate the team's care over our seven days. Merci beaucoup!
