We still miss waking up at Le Clocher de la Duchesse now that we’re home. The owner was extremely welcoming and accommodating, and breakfast was absolutely perfect for starting the day. It’s quiet and beautiful, and the recent renovation has done a great job updating everything, including the fixtures and windows. I was curious and a little concerned about such an old building, but there’s nothing to worry about. This is a charming B&B, and you won’t be disappointed.

The refund hassle was awful. Customer service was terrible, and after a huge effort to get my money back, they still denied the refund. We booked a place five hours away, expecting to arrive around midnight, only to find out there was no overnight staff to check us in. I had no choice but to cancel, and that’s when the nightmare started. One of the worst booking experiences I’ve had. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, book somewhere else.

The manager provided amazing service, and breakfast was simple and great, served in the kitchen with homemade preserves and a cooked breakfast. This wonderful château residence is 40 mins from Versailles. Thoroughly recommend.
