Château Du Bois Guibert

We’d come back. The twin deluxe room was spacious, clean, nicely decorated, and had comfortable beds and a modern bathroom. The restaurant and bar had a great choice of food and drinks. The manager was very welcoming, friendly, and funny. It’s a peaceful place, easy to find just off the main road, and there’s a Carrefour petrol station nearby. Worked perfectly as a stop on our way to southwest France.

We skipped breakfast so we could get back on the road, so I can’t comment on it. The evening meal was good, and we enjoyed sitting on the decking with a glass of wine. There was plenty of parking, the hosts greeted us warmly, and a lovely German Pointer came to say hello too. The bed and pillows were comfy, and the place was quiet. Clean, pleasant, and well managed.

We had a really relaxing stay in lovely surroundings. Breakfast was generous, and we also had an excellent meal on the beautiful terrace. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean.

We were impressed by the newly refurbished rooms across from the main building. They’re spacious, with terraces and luxurious bathrooms, and our rooms also had AC, which was a bonus. It was our second stay at the Chateau and we were just as pleased this time. The accommodation was excellent, the service was friendly and attentive as ever, and the food was great.
