Capelongue, a Beaumier Hotel

Elise was incredibly responsive and helped arrange a surprise proposal while I was coming from the US. She found a local photographer, helped plan a special reservation, and organized flower delivery. We stayed at the Capelongue hotel last July, and I couldn't have chosen a better spot. The rooms, property, and service were all great. The staff were amazing, and I really appreciate their help. I highly recommend it.

The property has potential, but the poor communication and lack of service made our stay disappointing, especially for a resort at this price. When we arrived, nobody showed us around or gave us a map or any directions. We didn't know there was another pool, where breakfast was, or what time it was served. Since we were there for just one night, we missed out on several amenities simply because nobody told us about them. Coming back from dinner at night was stressful. The resort was very dark and poorly marked, and without a map we got lost trying to find our way. We raised this with staff, who said they would pass it on to the manager. We heard nothing more, including at checkout. For a place of this standard, basic orientation and follow-up should be expected.

The spa and service were high quality, and it felt like a real rest for both body and soul. There aren't many guests, so it's easy to settle in and enjoy the quiet. The cozy, stylish rooms capture the spirit of Provence, and the location offers breathtaking views of the Luberon. Be sure to try the Michelin restaurant, it's a pleasure.

We spent two nights surrounded by nature and calm, in a place with beautiful architecture. The lap pool was incredible, cool, and well served by the pool staff. I loved their Cafe Frappe. Dinner at the restaurant came with a gorgeous sunset view and live music. The estate is sublime, with room houses that feel like Provence. Such a fantastic stay.
